LUCKY OMEN

This beautiful white butterfly has been sitting in this tree in my garden for nearly 2 weeks. Despite weeks of rain, torrential at times, it hasn’t moved, and no, it’s not dead. Shortly after taking this photo, I brushed against the tree and it flew away. I returned to the garden half an hour later and it returned and danced around me. I then left and returned another half hour later, within minutes it was back and dancing around me again. This cycle repeated itself for a third time before it settled down in another location in the garden where it remained for several more days. Today it flew away. 

It symbolises spiritual transformation and is perceived to be a lucky omen, bringing abundance and peace. It can also be the soul of a recently departed loved one returning. I recently lost Krystal, my Labrador of 14 years.  Love the way Mother Nature delivers special messages. 

How about this for a coincidence, not long after taking this photo I jumped into my car and the first words of a song playing on the radio were “and got butterflies”. I know there are no coincidences – everything has a purpose and a reason. Just love it!!!
